Remember that if you find you baggage damaged when you pick it up from the carousel, go immediately (without leaving the airport) to the lost & found counter. Usually they take care of these problems too. They will give instructions to have it repaired or even how to be refunded if you have to buy a new bag.

Your baggage means your belongings when you're away from home. It is important to feel comfortable with what you decide to take with you, taking the best care to preserve it and to avoid unpleasant things such as having it lost or damaged. Or yet having to pay for extra fee only because you didn't feel like spending a little time organizing it to be optimized without having to take all your wardrobe with you. Check your airline luggage size before going to the airport to avoid unpleasant surprises.
